Bundoora is the far end of the same tram line we are on, so it is one tram the whole way down Plenty Road. We are one shop at 675 Plenty Rd, Reservoir VIC 3073, and there is no Bundoora branch. Catch the 86 at RMIT/Plenty Rd, stop 71 and get off 18 stops later at Tyler St/Plenty Rd.
How long does it take from Bundoora?
About 20 minutes on the 86 tram from RMIT/Plenty Rd, stop 71, with no changes. You pass 18 stops towards Waterfront City Docklands and get off at Tyler St/Plenty Rd, stop 52, which is our stop. Trams on that run come about every 8 minutes through the middle of the day.
From stop 71 it comes down past Kingsbury and through Reservoir, and ours is stop 52 on the way.
Stop 71 at the RMIT campus is the end of the 86 line, so the tram starts there rather than arriving part way through its run, and it goes the length of Plenty Road to our door.
Driving from Bundoora is simply Plenty Road south, the same road the 86 runs down, so there is nothing to navigate.
